For my branding class, we were told to choose a magazine to rebrand, and I chose Vogue. Although it is a challenging magazine to rebrand, I wanted to take up the challenge. I did a lot of research for it and found that Vogue had different typefaces for the magazines, including hand-drawn / painted typefaces. I thought it would be fun to bring that back, so I handpainted many iterations of vogue, and I was hoping with this, the typefaces can be interchangeable yet still make it Vogue. Overall, I wanted to give a timeless yet modern look throughout the magazine.
